The best locksmiths in Nottingham! I don’t write many reviews but I was compelled to do so after we recently used the services of LS Locksmiths. On Monday my elderly mother called to say she had fell and was unable to get up from her living room floor, I rushed round to her house but the key I had was not working in the lock and I could not get in. First I thought should I call the police or fire brigade? But sense prevailed and we called a locksmith and were so pleased to do so, Richard from LS arrived in no time even running up the drive with tools as he knew the situation, in a no time at all he had the door open and I was able to get to my mother Richard even helped me to get her up from the floor and back seated in a chair, I am so thankful to LS locksmiths and Richard especially. ~ Chris C

LS Locksmiths came out to me when I was locked out in Sherwood within 30 minutes of my call at 9:00pm in the evening. I had tried several other locksmiths but no one was able to help; in fact one was advertising 24 hour service but informed me they would be closing by 8:30pm! Had it not been for LS, I would most likely have been locked out for the night. It wasn't an easy job; an old mortice lock had become stiff and I had broken off a fragment of my key which became jammed inside, meaning the whole lock had to be taken out. By the then it was dark and there was no outside light other than a street light. ~ M T

Great locksmiths, very proffessional and use high quality locks to get the job done. My key was stuck in the lock for some reason? I phoned up and they were there within the hour. Friendly and polite. The price they quoted was cheaper than the final price, which I thought was very honest. They cleaned up when they left, I will definitely put this number in my phonebook. I will also recommend these locksmiths to a few people I know. I would also give this number to my nan as the company seems to be very trustworthy. Ideal for the elderly. ~ jenny N

100% recommend! One of our downstairs window handles broke early on a Saturday morning - and it wouldn't close. We needed it fixing really quickly as we were heading out that day. Carl was quick, efficient and charged us a fair price. Had a quote from another company which was 3 times what Carl charged us. He was there within the hour and fixed the window in no time. They came out immediately, on a Saturday night, and sorted my problem very quickly, professionally and with a good degree of compassion. It was reassuring that they provided a quote, irrespective of the amount of work needed to resolve my dilemma of locking myself out my apartment, with such quote proving cheaper than the alternatives on offer. Richard from LS Locksmiths offered to come out straight away when I called for a upvc door repair, he inspected the door properly before giving a quote and the issues were as we suspected. He gave an estimate there which was a very reasonable, and also good advice for long term use. Thankfully the issues were not more costly than his original inspection and he was able to come out the next morning to repair it. The door is fantastic now never had such a smooth closing door! Very happy with the word done, and how quickly it was done. I was given a good idea of what work to expect upfront, along with an accurate quote estimate. Also booked in the work for the day after I called. Richard turned up early to the house, and kept me informed of what was needed, and fixed the door mechanisms well. Would highly recommend! I was panicking about not feeling safe as couldnt lock my UPVC door, one quick phone call and less than an hour later, MAGIC. The guy is fab, super thorough, made everything right again. I had some trouble with my lock I rang 5 different locksmiths that told me there is no other way around it I have to pay 100 or more for them to come and fix it. I then rang LS locksmiths who really did help me they went through what I needed to do step by step over the phone they saved me a lot of money I would definitely recommend. BRILLIANT! I called him in a desperate situation as my auntie got locked out from her house losing her keys. He arrived in a hour, and did the whole service in 5 minutes!!! Richard spent 15+ minutes of his time on the phone advising me on the best route of action due to a key stuck in door and no other access point, he then came out and fixed the problem within an hour of phone call. Reasonable price and really seemed like a sound bloke, gave me loads of advice on smartlock options freepf charge too! Good lad! ~ Felix

I have had a number people attempt to fix the lock on my door without success. LS Locksmiths came the day I called, fixed the lock and said they would not bill me until I was satisfied that it was still working a week later. A first class service!! And a lock that works. ~ Eddy
